Pool passes can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation Office until Thursday, May 23 from           8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Beginning Saturday, May 25 pool passes can be purchased at the Agnes Nolting Aquatic Complex.

COMPLEX RULES:
•Appropriate swim skills must be demonstrated before using the diving boards or swimming in deep water
•Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older
•Tobacco products are not allowed inside the facility
•Animals are not allowed inside the facility
•Running, rough play or obscene language is not allowed inside the facility
•No food, glass containers or coolers may be brought into the pool or concession area
•Food purchases from concession stand must be kept in the concession area
•Clear plastic water bottles are allowed
•Any person suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance will be asked to leave
•Hanging on lane ropes is not allowed
•Swimmers with open wounds will not be allowed admission
•In the event of threatening weather or cool air temperatures the pool will be closed until management determines it is safe to reopen the pool
•Paging of patrons is not allowed
•The City of Washington is not responsible for lost or stolen items
•Manufacturer suggested guidelines and rules will be enforced for all equipment; suggested height, weight, age limits, user capacity, etc.
•A ratio of 1 swimming adult for every five (5) children must be met with all groups from ages 2-4; otherwise a ratio of 1 swimming adult for every eight (8) children must be met
•Certified lifeguards will be on duty at all times
•Patrons must listen to the guards; individuals who do not comply with the rules will be asked to leave
•Chewing gum is not allowed in the pool areas
•Chairs are not allowed in the water
•Disposable diapers are not allowed
•Little Swimmies are highly recommended; diapers should be changed only in the locker rooms
•Little Swimmies are available for purchase at the Front Desk
•Lawn chairs may not be brought into the facility
•Management exercises the right to take action on circumstances proven not to be in the best interest of the public

DIVING BOARD RULES:
•Only one person is allowed on the board at a time
•Persons in line must wait until the previous diver has safely reached the pool ladder before climbing the diving board ladder
•Divers must exit the diving well at the nearest ladder after diving
•Safe diving must be practiced
•Running, cartwheels, handstands, inward dives or multiple bounces on the diving board are not allowed
•Diver must dive straight out from the board
•Diver must demonstrate swimming ability
•Inflatable devices, life jackets or floaties are not allowed on boards

WATER PLAYGOUND & SLIDE RULES:
•Only one person on the slide at a time
•Sliders must go down the slide in a sitting position or on back, feet first
•Sliders may not be caught in the catch pool (the area below the slide)
•Goggles, fins, watches, zippers, buckles, life jackets or floatation devices may not be worn while using the slide
•Before a slider may do down the slide he/she must wait until the lifeguard signals that it is safe to do so

*Violation of any of these rules may result in the patron being asked to leave
*These rules are not all inclusive and may change at the manger’s discretion
*It is the responsibility of the patron to read and obey all posted rules to ensure safety

JUNIOR LIFEGUARD:
Ages:  11 – 16
Dates:  Monday – Friday; June 24 – June 28
Time:  9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Thinking about becoming a Lifeguard?  This program will provide instruction in necessary life guarding skills.
Course includes:
•Water safety
•Leadership skills
•Basic work skills
•Lifeguard skills
•First Aid and CPR Training; this program does not include certification.

Must pre-register by Thursday, June 20

DOGGIE DIP:

•Refunds will be made up to two (2) weeks prior to the beginning of the program.  Once the program begins, partial refunds may be granted on an individual basis at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department.  Refunds will be given for all programs cancelled by the Parks and Recreation Department.
•Cancellations will be placed on the Parks and Recreation Department Facebook page.
•AMERICANS DISABILITIES ACT:  The Parks and Recreation Department is addressing the regulations contained in the American Disabilities Act.  Although the compliance plan has been endorsed, any comments or suggestions which would assist to accommodate persons with disabilities in our program and/or activities are always welcome.  If you or someone you know needs special accommodations to participate in any program or event, please notify our office 48 hours prior to the scheduled program or event.

The Agnes Nolting Aquatic Complex is available to rent for private parties on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The rental fee must be paid fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the rental.  A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 must be paid to hold the pool rental date.

The damage/cleanup deposit shall be refunded within four (4) weeks if there are no issues.  If issues should occur, the damage/cleanup deposit shall be forfeited.

Swim lessons are Monday – Thursday, with Friday as a rain date.  All swim lessons are held at the Agnes Nolting Aquatic Complex.
