Department: RN – Interventional Radiology
Status: Part Time (16 hr/wk)
Shift: Days (7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
*No Holiday, Weekends, Evenings or call

Overview:
Interventional Radiology is an procedure based unit for outpatients and inpatients that uses sterile technique and patients can monitored due to anesthesia, monitoring for bleeding, establishing pain regimen, etc.  Outpatient stays are registered through ASC and post is managed by PACU/ASC.  In this unit, we use catheters, drains, and perform neuro and GI procedures.

Qualifications:
•Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
•Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
•Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
•Certifications:
⇒ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
⇒BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
⇒Other unit specific certifications as required or or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
