Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Qualifications:

RN – Interventional Radiology

Department: RN – Interventional Radiology
Status: Part Time (16 hr/wk)
Shift: Days (7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
*No Holiday, Weekends, Evenings or call

Overview:
Interventional Radiology is an procedure based unit for outpatients and inpatients that uses sterile technique and patients can monitored due to anesthesia, monitoring for bleeding, establishing pain regimen, etc.  Outpatient stays are registered through ASC and post is managed by PACU/ASC.  In this unit, we use catheters, drains, and perform neuro and GI procedures.

Overview:
This position will be a Night Clinical Supervisor over the following floors:

Cardiac Telemetry Floor: We are a high paced 35-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit. Our patients range from STEMI’s, post Cardiac Catheterization care, CHF, Arrythmia and Blood pressure Management, Cardiac Catheterization, and Stroke management.  Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 with Patient Care Associates on staff to assist as well.  We strive to create an environment where clear communication, accountability, mutual respect and most importantly teamwork are utilized to provide our patient’s exceptional care.

 Med/Surg- Adults/Peds:We are a high-energy, fast-paced 30 bed Medical/Surgical/Adult & Pediatric unit that cares for medical and post-operative patients. These patients are primarily adults 18 years and older. However, we also care for approximately 1-2 pediatric patients per month. Our patient population consists of but not limited to post-op knees, hips, shoulders, colon resections, bariatric surgery, sepsis, pancreatitis, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and stable pneumothorax. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 with the assistance of Patient Care Associates. We have an exceptional unit highlighted by coworkers with knowledge, dedication, teamwork, empathy, and compassion.

Medical Surgical: We are a 30-bed Medical/Surgical Unit. Our patient population includes GI, Oncology, UTI, Dehydration, Pneumonia, COPD, Wounds, and Post-Op care.  Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 with Patient Care Associates on the floor to help. Qualifications:
•Education: Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing with willingness to obtain BSN. Preferred Education: BS degree in nursing management or healthcare business-related field preferred.
•Experience: Two or three years experience required in patient care. Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Certification/Registration: CPR
•Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

26 bed unit- provides excellent care to our community 24/7. We are a highly motivated, hardworking, extreme team focused and talented group of coworkers. Opportunity to care for a large variety of illnesses and injuries given there are no other trauma rated or pediatric specific emergency departments in our immediate area. Nurse to patient ratio is generally 1:4 for nurses. We do have patient care technician, paramedics and patient support associates as part of our care team as well.

•Experience: Must have Birth Center experience
•Certifications: CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.

⇒Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
⇒Must be able to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and policies.
