Day Shift Summary 10/10/2024 Vehicle had been parked on A. Roy Drive for some time and was reported as derelict. It was found to have been reported as stolen out of Oklahoma. Peace disturbance in the 1400 block of East 5th Street. Two male subjects arguing. They were advised to leave each other alone. Non-injury traffic crash on East 6th Street at Washington Avenue. One of the drivers was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. Subject was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of East 5th Street and Westway. The driver was found to have outstanding warrants and was arrested.

Harassment was reported in the 400 block of W. Front St. An animal bite was reported in the 300 block of State St. A dog running at large in the 500 block of E. 8th St. was taken to the police department and later released to it's owner. A harassment report was taken in the 900 block of Patients first Dr. A motor vehicle accident was investigated in the area of E. 5th and Madison Ave. Officers assisted EMS in the area of Village West. On Wednesday, October 9, there will be an early trash collection due to the Third Street Paving Project. This is for residents who live between Jefferson Street and Highway 47 and north of 5th Street. Please have cans and bags out the night before or by 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Thank you.
