A parking violation was reported in the area of 2nd and Johnson.
A parking violation was reported in the 300 block of Burnside St.
Assisted children's service in the 1300 block of Southwind's.
A subject needing a mental health evaluation was assisted in the area of W. 8th and Industrial.
Officers responded to the area of W. 5th and Stafford for a report of an assault and a domestic assault.
A domestic assault was reported in the 1400 block of W. Main St.
A check the well being was conducted in the 300 block of Fair St.

Two Washington Police Officers, along with other local law enforcement officers, were recognized at the annual Franklin County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) First Responder Appreciation Banquet on April 23, 2025. Officer Schmelz (pictured), and Officer Marquart (not pictured) were honored with awards for their outstanding service in response to behavioral health crisis incidents in 2024. Their dedication to helping those in a crisis response are truly impeccable. We are fortunate to have these officers on our team.
