Officers responded to the area of Camp St. and Eugenia Dr. for a report of a possible domestic disturbance in a vehicle.
Officers assisted the fire department in the 1700 block of A Roy Dr.
Officers responded to the riverfront for a report of careless driving.
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 100 block of E. 14th St.
Officer responded to the riverfront for a report of a disturbance.
A peace disturbance was reported in the area of Southwinds and E. 14th St.
A peace disturbance was reported in the area of W. 5th and Louis St.
Officers responded to the area of Stafford St. and W. 5th St. for a report of a leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
A subject was taken into protective custody in the area of Stafford and Horn St.
Work will continue to take place for the development on E Fifth Street that will impact traffic on the Fifth Street bridge south of Old Highway 100. This will continue through May 2nd. Work will take place between the hours of
7am - 4pm.
Two-way traffic will be maintained with narrowed lanes for most of the time otherwise flaggers will be utilized to direct traffic. Use caution and watch for workers. Please utilize alternate routes if possible. Thank you!

Night Shift Summary 04/23/2025
Subject reported property damage in the 900 block of Bieker Road. It was silly string and washed off.
Checked on a subject that had their head down on the picnic table at Krog Park. They were fine.
Alarm on A. Roy Drive. Accidental.
Hazards removed from the roadway in the 200 block of High Street.
Subject was reportedly dumpster diving and making a mess in the 200 block of West 5th Street. Subject was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. The mess was cleaned up.

Officers responded to the area of the bridge for a report of an argument between two female subjects.
A subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop.
All subjects arrested are innocent until proven guilty.

Now that Washington has a Dunkin' Donuts we are going to participate in this fundraiser for Special Olympics to go along with Sgt. Kapustka's t-shirt sales to raise money for this great cause. On May 16th come out and see him on top of the roof of the business collecting donations for Special Olympics. Even if it is just to make fun of him for being up there, come out and donate!

An assault was reported in the area of E. 11th and Sunnyside.
Officers responded to the 200 block of Elm St. for a report of an alarm sounding.
Officers responded to the riverfront parking lot for reports of careless driving.
Suspicious activity was reported in the area of Carmel Ln.
A subject was arrested in the area of E. 8th and Burnside for an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop.
Suspicious activity was reported in the area of W. 2nd and Jefferson.
Officers assisted a subject having a medical issue in the area of E. 8th and Madison.
Suspicious activity was reported in the area of Washington Heights and Hwy 100.

Officers assisted another agency with an uncooperative subject in the 900 block of East 5th Street.
