A Winter Storm Watch means it's time to get prepared and put your safety kit in the car. A Winter Weather Advisory means you should be aware that travel difficulties are expected and be cautious. A Winter Storm Warning means dangerous winter weather and considerable travel problems are expected, it's time to take action and change travel plans.

Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 at Vernaci Drive.
Dog struck in the area of Washington Heights Drive and JC Penney. Dog had no collar and was injured. Transported to a locat veterinary office for care.

Please use caution and stay away from barricaded areas down at the west end of the Riverfront in front of the boat docks. The ground near the riverbank is very saturated from all the rain and has begun sloughing away in some locations. These areas have been barricaded off but caution should be used all along the top of the bank.
The West Trail is still open and safe to use.
