Being able to celebrate Parks and Recreation Month would not be possible without all of the hard work our staff puts in. Our maintenance crew attends over 150 acres of parkland, 13 miles of trails, and all of the recreational baseball, softball, and football fields. Our staff is also responsible for running the pool and other programs like Camp Washington, Movie in the Park, and Witches on Main Street. The staff helps promote the idea that Washington's parks system is #WhereYouBelong. #ParksandRecMonth #ParksandRecMonth24

Not all drains lead to the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Know the difference between a storm drain and a sewer drain and keep pollutants such as paint, oil, yard waste, and litter out of the storm drain and out of our waterways. #SWPPP #washmo #waterwisewednesday #knowyourdrains
