One of the newer parks in our department, founded in 2017, the South Point Bark Park is a great spot to take your furry friend, with lots of room to roam and features to play with. This park has something for every type of dog, large or small, and is another reason why Washington’s Parks and Recreation is #WhereYouBelong. #ParksandRecMonth24 #ParksandRecMonth

Thank you to our fabulous families for joining us on a beautiful morning at the Riverfront Park. Serengeti Steve entertained while he educated about snakes, alligators, spiders, scorpions, and other reptiles. (He may have picked on a Mom or two in the process.) We had a great time and hope you did too!

The Friends of the Library gifted us this beautiful Cover One Machine that helps us fix broken bindings. Heavy, more expensive books often break early, like this well-used Minecraft Book. We've saved over 50 books since we got this machine in June. Thank you to the Friends!

When washing your car in the street or your driveway, an average of 120 gallons of soap and grease filled water goes down the storm drain and into our creeks and rivers. Using a bucket and dumping the dirty water in the sink will not only save on water usage but will help keep our water clean. #SWPPP #washmo #waterwisewednesday #onlyraindownthedrain
