Stealing report taken in the 2000 Block of East 5th Street. Walk in lobby report of fraudulent use of a credit card. Stealing report taken near Westlink Drive and West Main Street. A local business reported an attempted fraudulent transaction. Subject trespassed from a local business. 2 dogs located and returned to owners. Suspicious persons and vehicles checked on. Assisted an outside agency with contacting a subject regarding a case they were working. Civil matter regarding Facebook posts was resolved. Code enforcement activities. Follow ups conducted on previous reports. Report writing and traffic enforcement activities. A broken down motorist was assisted. VIN verification conducted for a local business.

The Rotary Riverfront Trails are one of the most visited spots in our Parks Department as it is accessible to all. The nearly 4-mile trail is fully paved and ADA Accessible with great views of the Missouri River along the way. The Friends of the Library gifted us this beautiful Cover One Machine that helps us fix broken bindings. Heavy, more expensive books often break early, like this well-used Minecraft Book. We've saved over 50 books since we got this machine in June. Thank you to the Friends!

When washing your car in the street or your driveway, an average of 120 gallons of soap and grease filled water goes down the storm drain and into our creeks and rivers. Day Shift Summary 07/09/2024 Assisted EMS on A. Roy Drive. Subject was left in care of EMS. Minor injury traffic crash on Highway 47 at Highway 100. Assisted WFD with a fire alarm on Blue Jay Drive. Accidental due to construction. Homeless activity in the 400 block of Lafayette Street. Subject was later contacted again and was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody. Non-injury private property crash on Washington Square. Property damage in the 500 block of East 14th Street. Subject was contacted 1700 block of East 5th Street that had made suicidal statements. Subject was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation. Alarm on Pauwels Drive. Accidental. Assisted a motorist on A. Roy Drive.

Assisted EMS on Lange Drive. Hazards removed from the roadway on Highway 100 at Washington Crossing. Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 near High Street.
