Shift Summary 1-31-2025 Check the well-being in the 1900 Block of Rabbit Trail Drive. Service of court papers in the 2200 Block of Windcrest Court. Assault in the 4700 Block of Southpoint Road. During the above assault a male subject was taken into custody for Minor in Possession of Intoxicants. Assist MSHP in the 300 Block of Jefferson Street. ARRESTS DO NOT IMPLY GUILT.

Day Shift 01/31/25 Assisted the fire department in the 600 block of E. 8th St. Assisted the fire department in the 400 block of Grand Ave. A fraud report was taken in the area of Creekside Place. A motor vehicle accident report was taken in the 100 block of W. Front St. A suspicious person was reported in the area of E. 3rd and Locust St. A parking violation was reported in the 100 block of W. Main St. Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash in the area of Hwy 47 and Hwy 100. During the investigation it was learned that the driver of one of the vehicles had an outstanding warrant. That driver was arrested for the outstanding warrant, traffic charges and DWI. Officers responded to the 300 block of Frank St. for an alarm sounding. Arrests do not imply guilt. All subjects arrested are innocent until proven guilty.

Great turnout for the second and final Parks & Recreation Master Plan Public Meeting/Open House. Planning Design Studio will present the final report to the City Council in April. Thank you for supporting the park system and the department!

A private property motor vehicle crash occurred in the area of Washington Corners. A verbal domestic was reported in the 900 block of E. 5th St. Officers responded to an alarm sounding in the area of Phoenix Center Dr.

Day Shift Summary 01/30/2025 Parking violation in the 100 block of Oak Street. Vehicle was moved. Assisted WFD with a call on Village West Court. Possible transformer fire. While assisting a motorist, made contact with a subject who had an outstanding warrant. The subject was arrested.

Day Shift Summary 01/29/2025 Assisted EMS on Anniston Drive. Subject was left in care of EMS. A large yellow dog struck in the area of Highway 100 and Vernaci Drive. No owner information could be located. Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 at Pottery Road. Checked on a subject in the area of Washington Crossing who was unable to provide their name. We were able to make contact with a family member and they came to pick the subject up. They are suffering from dementia. Report of a subject lying in the parking lot on Bedford Center Drive. Contact was made with a homeless subject. They were fine and they were asked to move along. Minor injury traffic crash on Highway 100 at Vernaci Drive. Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 at Vernaci Drive.

Officers responded to the 700 block of W. 5th for a parking complaint and a peace disturbance. A motor vehicle accident was investigated in the 1900 block of E. 9th St. A check the well being was requested in the 3400 block of Maplecrest Ct. A check the well being was conducted in the area if Bieker Rd. and Eckelkamp Ct. Suspicious behavior was reported in the area of Washington Corners shopping center. A suspicious person was reported in the area of the Washington Crossing shopping center. This occurred the night before. A suspicious person was reported in the 1900 block of Clark Dr. This occurred Saturday evening. Offficers assisted a motorist in the area of Hwy 100 and A Roy Dr.
