N.B. West Contracting will be paving next week on Second Street between Jefferson Street and Cedar Street (see Map below). Work will begin on Monday, April 15 and should end Friday, April 19. Weather delays may affect this schedule. Work will be completed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. No parking on the streets during working hours.
The block of Second Street between Oak Street and Elm Street is closed to traffic from Friday, April 12 to Monday, April 15.
Roads may be closed to traffic at times during paving, please use side streets and find alternative transportation routes. Caution should be used driving on new pavement as oil/paving materials may track for a few hours after paving is complete. Thank you for your cooperation while we complete this project.

Assisted WFD in the 100 block of East 3rd Street in reference to smoke in the area. Nothing was located.
Stealing reported on Marbach Drive.
Parking violation reported in the 500 block of West 5th Street.

The Riverfront Lower Lot (Boat Trailer Lot), Boat Launch and the Riverfront West Parking Lots are closed while the new parking lot asphalt cures. The lots and boat launch will reopen on tomorrow morning (April 10).

The Library has received an LSTA Grant from the State Library for $1,790.00 to add 15 Reminiscence Kits to the library's collection. Reminiscence therapy was developed as a way or interacting with someone in the present by looking backwards in our lives. We have started adding the kits to the collection.
