The Street Department maintains all City streets and makes all necessary repairs to the curb, gutter, and sidewalks.  The department installs and maintains all street marking signs, storm sewers, and all major excavation to keep all City streets safe from hazards.  The department is responsible for snow removal, curbside yard waste collection and annual curbside leaf vaccum.

The department goals are to maintain complete vehicle fleet to support street repair operations. Inspect and monitor all street department projects to ensure safety of workers and residents. Manage and control all storm water runoff to improve traffic study. Maintain a smooth pavement driving surface and extend the life of City streets.
