EASTER EGG HUNT

Midway Soccer Field (Fairgrounds)
Here comes Peter Cottontail hopping through the Fairgrounds. Thousands of eggs will be hidden at the field. Don’t forget a basket to collect all your goodies. Children will be grouped according to age.

Check our our educational booth at Sunset at the Riverfront. Booth will have FREE tree and seed giveaways. Arbor Day activities, Stormwater Demonstrations, Rain Barrel Making Demonstrations and more!
CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE
Saturday, May 3 • Begins at 7am
Citywide • $10 Listing • $4 for Booklet
Gather up all your old stuff and get them ready for the Annual City-Wide Garage Sale. For $10 we will list your address with a few of the items you are selling in a booklet. In the event of rain, it will be left to the discretion of each participant if they want to cancel. This is an inexpensive and great way to advertise your garage sale. Registration deadline is Friday, April 25. Booklets will be available for purchase on Tuesday, April 29 through Friday, May 2, at the Parks & Recreation Office and the Library. NO refunds will be offered.

Grab your lawn chair and join us at the Farmers’ Market to enjoy an outdoor concert.
All concerts are free of charge. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Rain or Shine, we’ve got you covered! No pets or coolers allowed.

NATIONAL TRAILS DAY

Did you know National Trail Day is the first Saturday in June? Our park system has multiple trails throughout the city. Grab the family or some friends and take a hike, ride your bicycle, or take a jog on any of our trails. This is a great opportunity to meet new people in your area and share a fun experience. Show your appreciation to those who make the trail system possible – your local Parks & Recreation Department.
FAMILY HEALTH AND FITNESS DAY

Get your family outside and get fit. The second Saturday in June is designated as Family Health and Fitness Day. Here are some ways to “Get Fit” with Parks and Recreation: take a walk, go for a swim, play outside, enroll in a fitness program or create your own exercise routine. So, what are you doing on Saturday, June 14th?
THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE HAT: A CREATIVE MAGIC CLASS
Monday - Friday • June 16-20• 5pm - 8pm
Fee: $85 • Amphitheater Lower Level
Can you...mind read the object someone is thinking? Balance 7 nails on the head of 1? Escape from ropes under impossible conditions. You will learn these, and many more magic tricks when you take this class. Get your own magic box and new tricks to put in daily to show your friends! Participate in a family show! You will create stories to accompany tricks and develop presentation skills and confidence in front of a group.

Relax in the grass or in your car to watch a movie on the big screen. Bring your lawn chair or blankets and join us under the stars. Be sure to bring your own snacks and drinks.

Agnes Nolting Aquatic Complex • $6 per person (advance purchase required)
Come out to the pool for movie night. On a portable screen, we will show a family movie under the stars. Bring your inner-tubes and/or rafts along with family and friends.
Kids 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 & older.
DOGGIE DIP
Tuesday, September 2 • 6:30pm-7:30pm
Agnes Nolting Aquatic Complex • Fee $12 per dog/owner • $5 each additional dog/person
Bring your furry four- legged friend to take a dip at Agnes Nolting Aquatic Complex for our annual end of year doggie swim. Dogs can play fetch, wade around in the shallow areas or jump off the diving board for their favorite toy. Owners are responsible for doggy messes and every dog must have at least one handler. All dogs must be on a leash while on deck. Dog and owner must pre-register by Thursday, August 28. Must provide proof of your dog’s Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP and Spay/Neuter records to attend.
