Maintenance Worker I (Laborer) – Parks Department (Summer Employment) – $12.00/hour
The City of Washington is seeking candidates for Maintenance Worker I in the Parks Department.
•Maintenance Workers need to be at least 18 years of age
•Candidates must be able to work various schedules such as days, evenings, nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays

Dispatcher Trainee:
The City of Washington is seeking qualified candidates for the position of full-time Dispatcher Trainee.  The position will involve dispatching calls for police and fire.
Candidate must possess:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Six to twelve month’s work experience
•A valid Missouri driver’s license
•The ability to be MULES certified within one year of hire

Library Shelver (Part-Time)
The City of Washington is seeking qualified candidates for the position of part-time Library Shelver for the Washington Public Library.  This position’s main responsibility is shelving library materials and will require night and weekend shift work.
Tasks Include:
•Providing customer service to patrons
•Communicating effectively
•Performing basic circulation desk functions such as checking out library materials and collecting money
Candidate must possess:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Computer experience

Maintenance Worker III (Operator) – Landfill Department
The City of Washington is seeking candidates for Maintenance Worker III (Operator) for the Landfill Department.  The main function of this position is to responsible for completing maintenance of public landfill, compost site, and other projects using heaving equipment.
Candidate must possess:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•A valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with airbrakes certification.  Other certifications, such as water operator or wastewater operator certification, are preferred
•Four to five years experience and/or training is preferred
